About Us

We create new ground

Founded in 2015 by a team of app developers, AppsFourU Limited, has dedicated its work to helping app developers in the development of their apps. In October 2016 we have launched our unique SDK, that not only provides apps with better location capabilities but also gives app developers greater insight on their users and better monetization capabilities by showing the right ads at the right time.

Yellow SDK

Enhanced Location Features

Yellow is a location SDK available for iOS and Android. It provides always available location awareness to your application. Our easy to integrate SDK minimizes the usage of GPS calls and therefore maximizes battery life of the devices running it. It utilizes various sensors in the device to achieve location awareness without the constant need of GPS calls.

Platforms and Battery

We support iOS 8.0 and up and Android KitKat (4.4) and up. Battery consumption is less than 3% per hour during average usage and a higher frequency of location updates will consume around 10% battery per hour.

Accuracy

Location accuracy is generally within 10 meters. This is achieved by combining relevant GPS data with other phone sensors like the accelerometer, gyroscope, compass and wifi. It's not as accurate indoor, however location can still be retrieved with an expected accuracy of 60 meters.

Venues

Venues are recognized within 5 minutes of the user’s entry into a venue and is detected by distinct address. You can get user's location with the app running in the background although custom venue recognition is not supported.

Privacy

User location data is automatically kept to provide you insights about your users. This should be disclosed in your app’s privacy policy as it should be transparent about the data you collect and how it's utilized.
